Est\u00e1n m\u00e1s sanos, m\u00e1s felices y agradecidos de que alguien en Europa todav\u00eda crea en la reducci\u00f3n de da\u00f1os. En pa\u00edses como Suecia, las bolsitas de nicotina han sido especialmente eficaces para ayudar a las mujeres a dejar de fumar, ofreci\u00e9ndoles una alternativa m\u00e1s limpia y discreta que realmente funciona en la vida real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Postales al Parlamento<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Cincuenta checos firmaron postales que llegar\u00e1n a los escritorios de los parlamentarios en Praga. \u00bfEl mensaje? Sigan liderando. Proteja los productos que ayudan a las personas a dejar de fumar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chequia y Suecia: el plan maestro<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

La cuesti\u00f3n es la siguiente: Suecia acapara titulares por su revoluci\u00f3n libre de humo, pero Chequia tambi\u00e9n merece protagonismo. Al igual que Suecia, Chequia ha optado por una regulaci\u00f3n proporcionada y con base cient\u00edfica. Nada de prohibiciones. Nada de p\u00e1nico. Resultados reales. Y los resultados son claros: menos fumadores, m\u00e1s personas que se cambian y vidas m\u00e1s sanas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este es el modelo que otros pa\u00edses de la UE deber\u00edan copiar. En lugar de hundir a los pa\u00edses con extralimitaciones y prohibiciones, Europa deber\u00eda mirar al norte y al este, a Suecia y Chequia, y decir: As\u00ed es como se hace.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por qu\u00e9 esto importa<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Porque, seamos sinceros: las prohibiciones no frenan la demanda. Simplemente la relega a la clandestinidad o la devuelven a los cigarrillos. Pero Chequia demuestra algo que Bruselas no quiere admitir: si se les dan alternativas reales a los adultos, las aceptar\u00e1n. Las tasas de tabaquismo bajan. Las tasas de mortalidad bajan. Todos ganan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gracias, Praga<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Praga no fue s\u00f3lo la primera parada del viaje. Recorrido por las bolsas protectoras<\/a>Fue una prueba de que Europa ya cuenta con l\u00edderes en la reducci\u00f3n de da\u00f1os del tabaco. Suecia y Chequia, entre otros. Dos pa\u00edses que demuestran al resto de la UE c\u00f3mo salvar vidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora es el momento de que el resto de Europa siga su ejemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
