Le mois de f\u00e9vrier a \u00e9t\u00e9 passionnant pour Considerate Pouchers, qui a men\u00e9 sa campagne dans les rues de Barcelone. Cette fois, nous n'avons pas seulement interagi avec les consommateurs locaux, nous avons \u00e9galement envoy\u00e9 des lettres au gouvernement espagnol, l'exhortant \u00e0 adopter une r\u00e9glementation \u00e9quitable pour les sachets de nicotine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Espagne propose des restrictions extr\u00eames sur les sachets de nicotine, notamment en limitant le taux de nicotine \u00e0 seulement 0,99 mg par sachet et en interdisant tous les ar\u00f4mes, \u00e0 l\u2019exception du tabac. Ces mesures feraient dispara\u00eetre la plupart des sachets de nicotine du march\u00e9, les rendant inefficaces pour les fumeurs \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019une alternative moins nocive. Si le taux de nicotine est trop faible, les fumeurs ne changeront pas de produit, et l\u2019interdiction des ar\u00f4mes supprime un \u00e9l\u00e9ment crucial qui aide les consommateurs \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9loigner de la cigarette. La sant\u00e9 publique gagne lorsque de meilleures alternatives sont disponibles, et non lorsque leur existence est restreinte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors de notre s\u00e9jour \u00e0 Barcelone, nous avons rencontr\u00e9 des consommateurs locaux et des d\u00e9fenseurs de la r\u00e9duction des risques qui nous ont fait part de leurs inqui\u00e9tudes concernant ces r\u00e9glementations \u00e0 venir. Beaucoup d\u2019entre eux ont sign\u00e9 et personnalis\u00e9 des lettres adress\u00e9es aux d\u00e9cideurs espagnols, soulignant l\u2019importance de pr\u00e9server l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des sachets de nicotine et de conserver une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de saveurs. \u00c0 la fin de la campagne, nous avions collect\u00e9 et envoy\u00e9 des centaines de lettres, chacune portant un message clair : rejetez les restrictions excessives \u2013 soutenez la r\u00e9duction des risques !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au-del\u00e0 de la lettre, nous avons \u00e9galement nou\u00e9 des liens avec le public, suscitant des discussions sur la r\u00e9duction des risques et la r\u00e9glementation de la nicotine en Espagne. La r\u00e9ponse a \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement positive : les gens \u00e9taient impatients d\u2019en savoir plus et beaucoup ont partag\u00e9 leurs exp\u00e9riences personnelles de passage aux sachets pour r\u00e9duire ou arr\u00eater de fumer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette campagne \u00e0 Barcelone a \u00e9t\u00e9 une nouvelle \u00e9tape dans notre combat permanent pour une r\u00e9glementation raisonnable de la nicotine. En amplifiant la voix des v\u00e9ritables consommateurs, nous faisons comprendre aux d\u00e9cideurs politiques que les mesures restrictives ne feront que pousser les gens vers des alternatives plus risqu\u00e9es ou \u00e0 revenir au tabac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
