At our coffee bike in Prague, people didn’t just stop for caffeine. They came to tell their stories on how nicotine pouches helped them finally quit smoking. And it wasn’t only pouch users. We spoke with families, friends, and colleagues who now live without second-hand smoke. They’re healthier, happier, and thankful that someone in Europe still believes in harm reduction. In countries like Sweden, nicotine pouches have been especially effective in helping women quit smoking  giving them a cleaner, discreet alternative that actually works in real life.

Postcards to Parliament

Fifty Czechs put pen to paper, signing postcards that will land on the desks of Members of Parliament in Prague. The message? Keep leading the way. Protect the products that help people quit.

Czechia and Sweden: The Blueprint

Here’s the thing: Sweden gets the headlines for its smoke-free revolution, but Czechia deserves the spotlight too. Like Sweden, Czechia has chosen proportionate, science-based regulation. Not bans. Not panic. Real results. And the results are clear: fewer smokers, more people switching, and healthier lives. 

This is the model other EU countries should be copying. Instead of dragging countries down with overreach and prohibition, Europe should be looking north and east, to Sweden and Czechia, and saying: that’s how you do it.

Why This Matters

Because let’s be honest: bans don’t stop demand. They just push it underground or back to cigarettes. But Czechia proves something Brussels doesn’t want to admit: give adults real alternatives, and they’ll take them. Smoking rates drop. Death rates drop. Everyone wins.

Thank You, Prague

Prague wasn’t just the first stop of the Protect Pouches Tour. It was proof that Europe already has leaders in tobacco harm reduction. Sweden and Czechia, among others. Two countries showing the rest of the EU how to actually save lives.

Now it’s time for the rest of Europe to follow their lead.
